The polling station for the Town of Olds Municipal Election closed at 8:00 PM MST. It has been officially established that the following people have been elected to the office of Mayor and Councillor in the 2025 Town of Olds Municipal Election.

Curbside green bin collection wraps up for the season at the end of October. The Residential Yard Waste Drop-Off Area will also close for the season after Thursday, October 30.

On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 05:48 AM the Olds Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire at #11 5210 65 Ave (Silver Lynx), Olds, with a report of a working structure fire in a mobile home.

This summer, over 300 residents provided input through the 2026 Budget Engagement survey, sharing their priorities and perspectives on municipal services, community safety, infrastructure, and recreation facilities.

This annual survey invites residents to help shape the municipal budget by ranking services and highlighting community needs.

Through the Mountain View Power (MVP) Community Grant Program, non-profit and not-for-profit groups can apply for funding to bring projects to life that enrich the lives of Olds residents.
