The Town's Winter Road Maintenance policy has recently been updated, introducing new activation levels for both roads and trails.
Several local community groups have received a boost from the Mountain View Power Community Grant Program, funded by designated profits from MVP. The grant committee made their selections from the Fall 2024 applications, choosing several fantastic groups which met its guidelines for funding.

BREWD is being driven by a new coalition of businesses, governments, and service agencies identified as Central Alberta First (CAF). CAF is calling on business owners and entrepreneurs to share their perspectives, voice their concerns, and contribute ideas that will help shape the region’s future.

The Town of Olds has announced the sale of the current administrative office building to Westview Co-op following formal approval at the council meeting on November 1, 2024. This move marks a significant step towards improving the Town’s operational efficiency, preparing for long-term growth, and supporting local business.
