Town of Olds Brand Resources
Consistent branding helps residents recognize and trust information from the Town of Olds. This page provides access to the Town’s official logos, Brand Standards Guidelines and Social Media Guidelines.
Please review the Brand Standards Guidelines before using the Town of Olds name, logo or other brand elements. The guidelines explain how the Town’s logos, colours, fonts, photography and written voice should be used to support clear and consistent communication.
If your proposed use is not covered in the guidelines, or you have questions about using the Town of Olds brand, please contact Communications at communications@olds.ca.
Brand Standards Guidelines
The Town of Olds Brand Standards Guidelines outline the proper use of the Town’s visual identity and communication style. They include guidance for:
- Town logos and approved variations
- Corporate colours and fonts
- Event, partnership and sponsorship materials
- Secondary Town logos and brands
- Brand voice, tone and accessibility
- Photography

Official Logos
There are several colour variations of the logo. Manipulation of the logo is prohibited. For permission to use the logo please submit a request to the Communications Department at communications@olds.ca.

Social Media Code of Conduct
The Town of Olds Social Media Code of Conduct explains how the Town manages and moderates its official social media channels. It outlines expectations for respectful participation, response times, content moderation, account restrictions and the sharing of third-party information.
Purpose of Social Media
Social media is a place for sharing information and is not intended to be used for public engagement. Please visit Engage.Olds.ca to provide feedback.
Operational changes cannot be implemented based on feedback from social media. For operational changes, please reach out to Council or fill out a Report-A-Problem form.

The official corporate "Town of Olds" social media channels are overseen by Communications who make a genuine effort to provide timely information and the best possible customer service to residents. This Social Media Code of Conduct was created to help keep a respectful online environment. There are real people behind screens and keyboards reading or even monitoring the Town of Olds social media accounts and everyone deserves to be treated respectfully.
Some of the social media channels overseen by the Town of Olds include Invest Olds, Olds Community, Olds Fire Department, Olds Community Connection Centre, Olds Sports and Recreation, and the main Town of Olds account.
The purpose of these channels is to provide residents with timely information regarding the community and the Town’s operations.
