Strategic Plan
The Town of Olds 2026-2030 Strategic Plan sets Council's direction for the next five years. It identifies the priorities that will guide decision-making, investment, and long-term planning while helping ensure the community continues to grow in a responsible and sustainable way.
Council's vision is:
A prosperous and thriving community guided by organizational discipline.
The Strategic Plan is built around four key priorities:
- Governance Excellence – Demonstrating disciplined, transparent and accountable leadership.
- Community Experience and Quality of Life – Supporting a safe, welcoming and active community.
- Economic Opportunity – Encouraging investment, business growth and economic resilience.
- Organizational and Infrastructure Stewardship – Delivering responsive services while planning for the future.
The Strategic Plan provides the foundation for Council's decisions and works alongside the Town's Corporate Plan, annual budget, and other strategic documents to help turn priorities into action.
