Moving to Olds?

Before moving in, set up a utilities account to receive water and solid waste collection services. Only property owners can open utility accounts. See Tenant information below if you are renting. 

Setting up an account can be done two different ways.

• Online application using this Utilities Application WebForm or,
• Completing the Utilities Application PDF Form and either emailing it to utilities@olds.ca or delivering it to the Town of Olds Office.

Residential Roll-Out Bins

Your home should include a recycling bin, a garbage bin, and a compost bin for your curbside collection. If your home is missing a garbage or compost bin contact the Finance Department at 403-556-6981. For recycling bins, please contact Empringham Disposal, at 403-392-3870.

Tenant Information

As per the Town of Olds Water Bylaw 2024-09 utility accounts can only be opened in the name of the property owner.

If you are a tenant and would like to receive a copy of the utility bill for your residence, the property owner must complete the tenant section of the Utilities Application WebForm.

A printable version of the Utilities Application Form is also available. Completed forms can be emailed to utilities@olds.ca or dropped off at the Town of Olds Office.
