Paying Your Utility Bill

An easy and convenient way to pay your bill is though Pre-Authorized Debit. No missed bills, no missed due dates! Sign up for Pre-authorized payments either:

• Through your account on Virtual City Hall, or 
• Complete the Pre-Authorized Debit Form and return it to Town Office with a "VOID" cheque.

Pre-Authorized Payment Cancellation Request

To cancel your pre-authorized payments, please fill and submit the Utilities Automatic Payment Cancellation Form.

You can pay utilities in person by cheque, money order, credit card, debit or cash at:

You can pay your Town of Olds Utilities bill through your financial institution.

In Person

Before paying in person at your bank, confirm that your bank accepts "i- branch paper payments" using the remittance stub from your utilities invoice. 

Some banks only process in-person payments for customers already set up with online banking.

Online

Payment can be made through your online banking. Add "Town of Olds – Utilities" as a payee, and use your full utility account number. Allow several days for processing the payment to avoid late fees.

Your bank’s confirmation serves as your receipt. No further receipt is issued by the Town of Olds.

Should you own multiple properties, each payment must be designated to the correct utility account number to ensure it is applied properly.

If you wish to pay your utility invoice by mail, send a cheque or money order and the remittance portion of your utility invoice to:

Allow ample time for your payment to arrive before the due date. The Town is not responsible if payments are not received.
