The Town of Olds is excited to present this month's Project Volunteer meeting on Thursday, March 21. Project Volunteer is a monthly gathering to connect the vibrant volunteers of Olds with interesting volunteer opportunities with community needs.
In a move to enhance waste management services while managing costs, the Town of Olds announces the discontinuation of community grass bin services in 2024. A decision was made to shift current costs to increasing and improving residential green bin services so residents would see a more direct benefit from dollars spent.

Starting today, residents of Olds can share their thoughts on community policing by participating in a confidential survey.
Three local community groups recently received funding through the Mountain View Power (MVP) Community Grant Program, financed by designated MVP profits. This fall, the program approved funding for three standout applications that met the program's approval guidelines. The funding recipients were the Olds Curling Club, Mountain View Nordic Ski Club, and the Undercover Elf event by Olds Fashioned Christmas.
