Off-Leash Dog Park
West of Olds on Highway 27
The Olds Off-Leash Dog Park is located along the east side of 46 Street, just north of 57 Avenue. The area is fully fenced, with a double-gated entrance for safety. Waste bins and dog bag dispensers are available on-site, and a winterized porta-potty is located in the parking lot.
The Dog Park is a shared public space. Owners are responsible for picking up after their pets, supervising their behaviour, and ensuring they remain under control at all times. Please respect other users and posted signage.
Use At Your Own Risk
The Town of Olds shall not be liable for any injury or damage caused by any dog in the park.
Important Information
To ensure you and your pets have a safe and pleasant visit, please observe the following park etiquette.
Dogs:
- Interact well with other dogs and with people they don't know.
- Vaccinations must be up to date.
- Come immediately when called.
- Do not chase wildlife.
- Are not in heat.
People:
- Must keep dog(s) always leashed when not within the boundaries of the Off-Leash Park.
- Always have a leash in your possession.
- A maximum of 3 dogs may be allowed in the park under total control of one owner at all times.
- Clean up after your dog and fill any holes they may dig. (Doggie bags are provided).
- Leash and remove your dog from the park at the first sign of aggression.
