Centennial Park is centrally located in Uptowne Olds and often referred to as the hub of the Olds Community. This large greenspace was originally developed in 1967 and has undergone major transformations over the years, includingthe additions of a Skatepark, Splash Park, and outdoor rink (ice/pickleball courts seasonally).
Centennial Park is available for everyone to use and enjoy. Take advantage of the Gazebo for an afternoon of reading or playing with the kids, have a picnic, or enjoy a leisurely stroll or bike ride on one of the many trails that connect throughout town.
To host an event here, please visit Special Event Permits and Applications to find out if your event needs to be booked.
Centennial Park is also home to the Kiwanis Historical Prairie Village (featuring interpretive signage and winter mural displays), Olds Fashioned Christmas events, the Light Up Parade, and many community gatherings such as outdoor movies, church services, weddings, and other public celebrations.
