Town of Olds Library Board

The Olds & District Municipal Library has been serving Olds and area for over 60 years! The library is a Town of Olds facility that is managed and controlled by a community led Library Board. The policies of the Library Board are governed by Parts 1 and 5 of the Alberta Libraries Act which regulates, organizes and promotes efficient library services in the municipality and cooperates with other boards and libraries to deliver services.

Library Board

Those interested in participating as Library Board Members are strongly encouraged to attend at least one board meeting for an overview on the roles and responsibilities of the Board Members.

Board Meetings are held at 7:30 PM in the Library the third Wednesday of every month except June, July, August and December.
