Parks and Recreation

It is not all work for Olds residents

Olds offers an abundance of recreational opportunities. Whether you enjoy a hike through the Town's extensive trail system, participating in a variety of sports, touring historic Uptowne Olds, or taking your dog for a romp through the off-leash park, Olds has it all.

Residents and visitors can enjoy many summer and winter recreational facilities. Check out the Olds Aquatic Centre, Sportsplex, Splashpark and Curling Rink, or follow the Trail System that leads you to the Skatepark, Splashpark,  Horse Shoe Pits, Baseball Diamonds, Soccer Pitches, Football Fields and more.

See the complete listing of Playgrounds and Parks or the various Town Sports Fields. Also take a look at the

 Community Events Page.

In 2021, municipalities in the Mountain View Region cooperatively completed a long-term review of parks, recreation and culture to look at how to invest to best meet the needs of our communities with an updated regional master plan.
