Town of Olds Council consists of a Mayor and six Councillors who are elected by the citizens of Olds every four years. Elections are held in accordance with the provincial Municipal Government Act and the Local Authorities Election Act. The current Council was officially elected in the General Election held Monday, October 18, 2021, and began its term on Monday, October 25, 2021.
The next Town of Olds general Municipal Election will be on Monday, October 20, 2025.
This election fills seven (7) seats; one Mayor and six Councillors.
