Coffee With Council

Stay engaged and share your thoughts, concerns and ideas about our community with your Town Councillors. Help make Olds a better place to live, play and work.
Coffee With Council is an ongoing initiative that gives residents a chance to speak directly with Councillors in an informal setting. There’s no agenda, just open conversations about what matters to you.
Sessions in 2023 and 2024 were well attended and council has decided to continue the program in 2025.
Coffee With Council Schedule

Thank you so much to those who attended Coffee with Council on June 5, 2025 at the Olds Farmer's Market.
We had over 30 attendees who shared their feedback with Town Council, providing valuable insight to how our initiatives are impacting the community. Taking time to share feedback is an important part of decision making in municipal government. These caring individuals help us shape our initiatives going forward.

Did You Know?
- Olds Town Council is elected by residents every four years. It is made up of six Councillors and one Mayor.
- Council sets the direction for the Town. They decide what needs to be done, while administration (Town staff) handles how it's done day to day.
- Council makes decisions as a group. Each member has one vote, and no one individual has more authority than the others.
- Council decisions are shaped by community input. Public feedback is important and helps guide both current priorities and long-term plans for Olds.
- Council is your voice! Coffee With Council is your opportunity to speak directly with them, share what matters to you, and help guide the decisions that shape our community.
