  • You are Invited to Attend: A Public Engagement Session: Developing a Men’s Shed and Arts Hub in the Town of Olds

    Join us Thursday, September 19 at 4826 51 Street, Olds from 3:00 PM -7:00 PM for hot dogs and conversation. Your input will help to build a plan to renovate the empty Town of Olds Operations building, 4826 51 Street, to become a vibrant co-located place for socializing, projects, and the arts.

  • Town of Olds Shares Key Findings and Results of 2025 Budget Survey

    Town residents and businesses were invited to provide input on the 2025 budget from May 27 to July 5, 2024.  Community involvement is a priority for the Town, budget engagement helps Council and Administration understand what services citizens value and will help shape decisions around service level adjustments leading into the 2025 Budget.

  • Plains Midstream Canada Donate Truck to Olds Fire Department

    In a generous contribution to the community’s firefighting capabilities, Plains Midstream Canada has donated a 2018 GMC 2500 pickup truck to the Town of Olds Fire Department. This donation boosts the department's ability to respond to wildfires across Alberta.

  • Mountain View County and Town of Olds Intermunicipal Cooperation Committee (ICC) Agreement Negotiation Period Extended

    Mountain View County and the Town of Olds have agreed to extend the negotiating period for our Intermunicipal Cooperation Committee (ICC) agreement to December 31st, 2024. If more time is needed, negotiations may extend into 2025. The ICC agreement is a provincially legislated document, established in 2016, that outlines how these municipalities will share the cost of facilities and services accessed by residents of both the Town and County, including recreation, fire, and libraries.
