Olds Update with Mayor Dan Daley - September 1, 2026

Good morning, everyone! Hard to believe September is already here! The kids are back to school, so make sure that you're extra careful out there when you're driving on the streets. 

We want to thank everyone who donated to the Back-to-School program. 190 backpacks were donated for kids to ease the financial stress on their families. We’re so lucky to be part of such a generous and connected community. 

On September 2, The Evergreen Center is hosting local Olds College Instructor, Dr. Ken Fry, to talk about beneficial insects in your yard.

We’re grateful to all of you who have been submitting Report a Problems. It helps us track and respond to issues around town and it ensures the right team gets the work order.

We’re looking for Board Members as well for the Library, Economic Development, Mountain View Power, and the Policing Committee. If you want to make a difference, there are lots of ways to get involved.
