Final Appeal Board Decision for Development Permit 25-128 (PDF)
As of October 14, Canada Post service has resumed, but delivery delays may continue due to ongoing labour disruptions. This may still cause delays in receiving your utility bills and other mailed correspondence from the Town of Olds. Learn more about how this may affect you.
As of January 1, 2019, the Town of Olds joined the Regional Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) that replaced the local appeal process.
The SDAB is a quasi-judicial board that hears appeals related to planning and development decisions. Board members receive training and are compensated for hearing appeals. Established by Regional Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Bylaw 2018-43, it serves 18 municipalities across Central Alberta. All board members receive formal training and are compensated for participating in hearings.
The SDAB is responsible for conducting impartial, fair, and timely hearings. The SDAB serves the following municipalities:
| Summer Village of Burnstick Lake | Town of Bentley | Village of Alix |
