The Town of Olds Has Filed Our Statement Of Intent To Participate

The Town of Olds has filed our Statement of Intent to Participate in the Alberta Utilities Commission review of the Synapse Data Centre proposal (Proceeding 30732).

Our submission reflects what we have heard from the community. A project of this scale could bring significant economic activity and long-term investment to Olds. It could also mean real impacts on noise, air quality, and community life. Our job is to make sure the regulatory process produces binding answers on both sides of that equation before anything is approved.

We want to thank everyone in our community who took the time to file their own statement. Resident voices matter in this process, and the AUC will have them on the record.
