Olds Update with Mayor Dan Daley - October 27, 2026

Hi. It’s Mayor Dan Daley here with your Olds Update.

This weekend is Halloween and there's a few activities I'd like to mention. At the Olds Muncipal Library they are hosting Halloween Candy Dash that runs from 9 am until 5:30 PM. Also, the MVP Aquatic Center is hosting a night of Family swimming, games and treats from 5:30 to 8:30. These events are both happening on Friday the 30th.

The Olds Healthcare Fundraising Committee is hosting a dance on Friday starting at 8:00 PM featuring music from Girl Crush. This event will be held at the Olds College Alumni Center.

If you’re 55+ the week is packed with activities for you. From art classes to yoga to line dancing and cards, the Community Calendar has a lot going on.

Also, a big shout out Clint’s Kitchen is hosting a free supper every Wednesday night at St Paul Lutheran’s Church. A great place to have a visit and experience a great home cooked meal. If possible, donations are welcome.

The week is full of events, check out all these events and more on the Community Event Calendar at events.olds.ca .

Stay safe out there and Happy Halloween!
