Hi everyone, Mayor Dan Daley here with your Olds Update for the week of May 19th

The Pop-Up Transfer Station is this weekend. It’s for residents of Olds to dispose of regular household waste and hazardous household materials at no cost. Registration is required. Check out the website to learn more.

With fire season starting and already impacting our neighbours, the best way to stay informed is through Voyent Alert!. Search "Voyent" on our website olds.ca. The Town of Olds uses Voyent Alert! to share emergency notifications. You can sign up on our website. uses Voyent Alert! to share emergency notifications.

We also use Voyent Alert! to keep you informed of events and happenings on our roads. For example, construction on 57th and highway 27 will begin on June 1st. Use Voyent Alert! to keep up to date on traffic patterns.

Our water meters have been quite successful identifying a lot of leaks around town to repair. As we continue to investigate and repair these leaks, please be patient with our town crews.

It’s also the season for potholes!  Keep reporting the ones you see using Report-a-Problem. We track them down and fix them in bursts.

Until next time, have fun and enjoy Olds!
