Olds Storefront Grant Returns for a Second Year of Community Revitalization
The Town of Olds and Mountain View Power (MVP) are celebrating another exciting year of community investment through the Storefront Grant Program.
Following a successful first year, the program continues to support local businesses in enhancing the appearance, character, and vibrancy of the Uptowne Olds area. Funded through MVP, the initiative provides a total of up to $30,000 annually, with up to $3,000 available per applicant for eligible storefront improvement projects.
From fresh paint and façade improvements to upgraded signage and exterior enhancements, the program is helping create a more welcoming and visually engaging Uptowne experience for residents and visitors alike.

- Men’s Shed of Olds
- Olds Town Square
- RIPS Audio Video
- Prairie Dog Wellness
- Twisted Vape
- Mountain View Museum & Archives
“Programs like this show what’s possible when community pride and local investment come together,” said Guy Lapointe, Director of Community Services. “Every storefront improvement adds energy, personality, and momentum to Uptowne Olds. It’s exciting to see businesses continue to invest in creating a vibrant and welcoming downtown experience for everyone.”
As projects begin rolling out throughout the construction season, residents can expect to see another wave of visible improvements contributing to the continued revitalization of Uptowne Olds.
