Municipal Mini: Temporary Sportsplex Closure Beginning June 8

Please be advised that the Olds Sportsplex will be temporarily closed beginning June 8, 2026 for a major electrical upgrade to the facility’s power system.

This work will improve power capacity and reliability, helping support facility equipment and reduce the risk of future outages. Due to the scope of the project and safety requirements, the building must remain fully closed during construction.

The Sportsplex is expected to reopen later this summer.

During the closure, teams and users may wish to explore other recreation spaces in nearby communities to help maintain programming.
