Municipal Mini: Announcing the Proposed Centennial Park Improvement Plan

Centennial Park has been part of our community for generations. As the park continues to evolve, the Town has prepared a long-term improvement plan to help guide future investments and enhancements over the next 10 years.

The improvement plan builds on the work of a volunteer committee and was informed by feedback received through the 2026 Budget Survey. Together, this input helped identify opportunities to improve accessibility, gathering spaces, amenities and the overall visitor experience while preserving the park's role as one of Olds' most valued community spaces.

The plan serves as a roadmap for future improvements. Projects will be completed in phases as funding becomes available through future budget deliberations and Council priorities.
