Town of Olds Launches New Website

The Town of Olds is excited to announce the launch of a new, updated website. The redesigned Town of Olds site puts residents first, with a simpler, more mobile-friendly layout that makes it easier to find what you need—whether you’re booking a facility, checking Council agendas, or exploring local services.  

The shift marks the first major update to the site since 2018. It replaces an aging platform that will no longer be supported by the end of this year.  

“We have been making efforts to modernize how we connect with the people of Olds,” said Mayor Judy Dahl. “This new site reflects our commitment to accessible, clear and transparent communication. It is important to us to build trust and keep people informed in a way that works for them.”  

The updated website features a clean, streamlined design and improved search tools that make it easier for users to navigate and find day-to-day information and Town services.   

“We took this opportunity to rethink the layout from the ground up,” said Jillian Toellner, Supervisor of Communications and Engagement. “We focused on what matters to residents—getting the information they need accurately, easily, with less frustration. It always takes a moment to get used to a new setup but we’re confident people will find it more useful and intuitive overall.”  

The Town encourages users to explore the site starting August 13 and share any feedback to help improve the experience further. Any bookmarks or shortcuts that are set up by residents are businesses should redirect to a page on the new site, to reduce disruption.
