Town of Olds Launches Marketing Video as Part of New Campaign: “Find Yourself in Olds” Highlights Community Spirit, Opportunity and Quality of Life

The Town of Olds is proud to release the first video in its new community marketing campaign: Find Yourself in Olds. The video showcases the spirit, vibrancy and opportunity that define the Town—and invites viewers across the region and beyond to experience life in Olds.

The campaign is part of the municipality’s new Marketing Plan, which focuses on five pillars that highlight what makes Olds an exceptional place to live, work and invest. These pillars include:

  1. A small-town community with big-city energy, thanks to our ideal location;
  2. Innovation, vibrancy and growth anchored by Olds College;
  3. Facilities and services that support high-quality, all-ages living;
  4. Diverse arts, culture, cuisine and events that foster connection;
  5. A strong, welcoming community spirit that sets Olds apart.

“This campaign tells the story we know to be true about Olds,” said Mayor Judy Dahl. “It shows the passion of our people, the strength of our institutions, and the sense of belonging you feel when you arrive.”

The video will serve as a tool for investment attraction, workforce recruitment, tourism, and community pride. It is especially valuable for introducing Olds to new residents, professionals, and business owners considering a future in the community.

“This marks an exciting step forward in how we promote Olds,” said Guy Lapointe, Director of Community Services. “The video reflects a shift to more user-focused, story-driven messaging that celebrates our strengths and character.”

The first video is now live and can be viewed at: https://youtu.be/wj6o50YPf4g

More videos and campaign elements will follow in the weeks and months ahead. Residents, businesses and partners are encouraged to share the video through their networks and social media channels.
