The former fire hall is now completely filled with three non-profit community organizations 

Hope 4 MVC Kids Society was the last non-profit organization to sign the necessary paperwork with the Town of Olds.  

Hope 4 MVC Kids helps families in Mountain View County and the urban municipalities within its geographical boundaries cope with medical and related expenses for children needing medical care.

Alberta’s Education Minister was on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony of the newly renovated Metals Building at Olds College of Agriculture and Technology this week. 

The Central Alberta Collegiate Institute (CACI) was one of first 12 partnerships that had been approved as collegiate programs by Alberta Education in 2023. 

Central Alberta college behind on six auditor general recommendations - The Albertan News 

The Olds College of Agriculture & Technology is behind on six recommendations made by the office of Doug Wylie, auditor general of Alberta, in its latest report on post-secondary institutions. 

Those six recommendations are in regard to financial reporting and operational processes and controls.

Fourteen individuals or groups have been recommended to compete in the Alberta Provincial Music Festival May 26-29 in Edmonton after their outstanding performances during the 42nd annual Olds & District Kiwanis Music Festival. 

Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills MLA awards King Charles III medal - The Albertan News

Longtime Olds and area volunteer Rita Thompson has received a King Charles III Coronation Medal. 

It was presented to her by Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills MLA and speaker of the House Nathan Cooper.

A new era has begun in the town of Olds. 

On Wednesday morning, the historic Olds Grizzlys franchise of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) announced a new ownership group has taken the helm, with a new coaching staff to lead the way moving forward.

SDAB upholds denial of storage permit in central Alberta industrial park - The Albertan News

 A subdivision and development appeal board (SDAB) has upheld the decision of Mountain View County's administrative subdivision and development approving authority to refuse a development permit for a proposed industrial storage and warehousing facility outside Carstairs.
