PACO Unveils New Public Art at Cornerstone Art Commons

October 10, 2025 Olds, Alberta — The Public Art Collective of Olds (PACO) is bringing fresh energy and colour to the Cornerstone Art Commons at 46 Street and 65 Avenue.  A new collection of artwork, selected through a recent community art contest, will be put up mid-October.

The updated display features larger pieces and bolder colours, giving the space a vibrant new look. The transformation celebrates local creativity and reflects the community’s growing passion for public art. The art that has been on display in the showcase since 2019 will be put up in the Olds Municipal Centre and in the Olds Sportsplex.

PACO extends heartfelt thanks to Mountain View Power, the Olds Photography Club, the Olds Art Club, and all the community members who submitted their work for consideration. Their contributions make the Cornerstone Art Commons a dynamic and evolving gathering place in the heart of Olds.

PACO is always looking for new members to join its efforts in supporting and growing public art in Olds and building the art community and will be hosting an event for the artists on October 16^th to celebrate these local artists and the art community in Olds.
