Just a few quick community updates we wanted to share.

First up, transit. Olds doesn’t currently have a transit system, but we’re doing a study to better understand what our current needs are and what that could look like in our community. There’s an online survey open until February 23, and we’d really love to hear from residents. If transit has ever been a challenge for you — or even if it hasn’t — your feedback matters.

Next, mark your calendars! The Olds Grizzlys are hosting a free community game on February 13. It’s a great excuse to get out, support the team, and enjoy a fun night at the Sportsplex with friends and family. Check their website out for details.

And finally, The Community Connection Centre reminds everyone that February is Kindness month. It’s all about small acts of kindness that make a big difference, so keep an eye out for activities throughout the week — and maybe take a moment to brighten someone’s day.
