Olds RCMP Charge Two With Drug Offences

On March 27, 2025, Olds Crime Reduction Unit observed drug trafficking activity in the Town of Olds. With the assistance of Olds RCMP, a traffic stop was conducted, and subsequent to an investigation, 238 grams of suspected methamphetamine were located.
Shaylene McCauley (26), a resident of Innisfail, was charged with the following:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Fail to comply with undertaking
- Fail to comply with probation order (x4)
Michael Goodine (48), a resident of Penhold, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
McCauley and Goodine were held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing later released. Goodine is to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Didsbury on April 7, 2025, and McCauley is to appear on April 28, 2025.
