Municipal Minute - Last Week for Grass Clippings Drop-Off Until October

Just a heads-up, this is your last week to use the Grass Clippings Area at the Operations Centre until October!

The final day for drop-off is Saturday, May 31, 2025. After that, the site will be closed until it reopens for the second half of our seasonal pilot program in October (weather permitting).

This dedicated area is for loose grass clippings or paper bags containing clippings only — no plastic bags or mixed waste, please.

Location: Residential Yard Waste Drop-Off Area – Operations Centre (west end of town)

Hours of Operation:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Saturdays – 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Looking to dispose of other yard waste over the summer?

The Branch Dump remains open during regular hours until the end of October. It accepts small trees, branches, and dry leaves (minimal organics only, please).
