Hello, this is Adrian Pedro, Director of Infrastructure for the Town of Olds.

We wanted to remind residents of our latest environmental endeavors aimed at enhancing your yard and enriching our community.

The Residential Branch Dump is conveniently located at our Operations Center. Here, residents can dispose of branches, shrubs, leaves, and trees. Please remember that they must be smaller in diameter than a toilet paper roll. The Residential Branch Dump is open Tuesdays & Thursdays from Noon to 3:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Residents can also participate in the Rain Barrel and the Home Composter Rebate Programs. Simply submit the rebate form with your receipt to receive a 50% rebate up to a maximum of $50 per item on purchases of new rain barrels and home composters.

Lastly, join us in grass-cycling to maintain a lush green lawn while conserving water. Leave your grass clippings on the lawn for a natural fertilization process.
