We’re excited to announce that the Town of Olds Administration Office is now open at its new location and with a new name! 

Olds Municipal Centre (formerly the Operations Centre)
3501 70 Avenue, Olds, AB (north of the Rotary Athletic Park) 

As of July 21, the Municipal Centre is open to the public for all in-person services, including tax payments, permits, utilities, and more. This new space brings together key departments under one roof and helps us serve you better with improved accessibility and efficiency.

Whether you’re stopping in to make a payment, ask a question, or attend a Council meeting, we look forward to welcoming you to the new space.

Regular business hours remain the same:

Monday to Friday
8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
(Closed on statutory holidays and from 12:00–1:00 PM for lunch)

Why did the Town move? 

The move supports long-term operational savings, allows departments to work more efficiently together, and creates new revenue by turning the old building into a taxable property. 

How does this save money for taxpayers? 

Savings will come from lower maintenance costs, reduced duplication of services, and no ongoing capital requirements tied to an aging facility. Plus, the old building will generate tax revenue once sold. 

What is happening to the old Town Office? 

Westview Co-op has purchased the building and will retain its head office in Olds, supporting local employment and economic activity. 

Is the new location easier to access? 

Yes. The new site is designed to better serve residents and consolidate services in a modern facility. Parking and accessibility will be improved.
