Municipal Mini - Construction is Underway on Vistas 5A

We’re excited to share that construction is underway on Vistas 5A, the newest phase of the Vistas subdivision. This area will create 21 new lots for single-family homes, continuing the growth of one of Olds’ most established and sought-after neighbourhoods.

While our recently approved Housing Strategy focuses on increasing housing diversity and expanding rental and infill options, we recognize the ongoing demand for traditional single-family homes. Developments like Vistas 5A play an essential role in:

• Meeting local demand from families and newcomers
• Supporting builders and trades in our community
• Maintaining the established character of Olds’ neighbourhoods

Single-family homes remain a key piece of our overall housing mix. As our town grows, we’ll continue to support a balanced approach, one that includes everything from apartments and townhouses to traditional family homes like those planned for Vistas 5A.
