Municipal Mini: 2025 Municipal Election – What You Need to Know
The next general Municipal Election in the Town of Olds is coming up on Monday, October 20, 2025, and there are many ways to get involved.
Are You Eligible to Vote?
You can vote in the Town of Olds if you:

Are at least 18 years old;

Are a Canadian citizen;
-
Are a resident of the Town of Olds on Election Day; and
-
Can provide authorized identification.

Candidate nominations are now open and will close on Monday, September 22 at 12:00 PM (noon).

We’re Hiring Election Workers
Help make the election run smoothly! The Town is hiring trained election workers to support both the general election and advance polls. Apply now using the Election Worker Application Form.
