Mountain View Power Launches Storefront Beautification Grant in Uptowne Olds

Mountain View Power, your local energy retailer committed to reinvesting in the community, is excited to announce the launch of the Storefront Beautification Grant. This new initiative aims to provide funding assistance to Uptowne businesses looking to enhance and revitalize their storefronts. Additionally, the program supports the recent Retail Gap Analysis, which found that the Uptowne Olds area plays a key role in bringing people together, encouraging social connections, and strengthening community involvement.

The concept is simple: local business owners can submit their planned improvements—whether it’s new lighting, fresh paint, updated windows, or other enhancements—along with a quote or estimate and, if possible, a proof, mock-up, or sketch of the concept. A dedicated committee of local business professionals will review applications and allocate funding based on the quality of submissions and how well they align with the program’s objectives.

“This is an exciting opportunity that will promote revitalization in Uptowne Olds” said Mayor Judy Dahl. "Mountain View Power continues to find new ways to bring about positive change in our community."

Mountain View Power invests its profits back into valuable community projects, and the Storefront Beautification Grant is another way the organization is working to strengthen and support local businesses.
