FINAL WEEK! Spruce Up Your Storefront– Funding Still Available for Uptowne Businesses

Local businesses are encouraged to take advantage of funding support through the Town of Olds Storefront Grant program—but time is running out!

Applications for the 2026 intake close April 1, 2026, and businesses in the Uptowne core are invited to bring forward creative ideas to refresh and enhance their storefronts.

Funded through Mountain View Power, the program offers up to $3,000 per project, with funding available for improvements like new signage, fresh paint, lighting, landscaping, and other exterior upgrades that make Uptowne more welcoming and vibrant.

“MVP is continuing to look for ways to support our local businesses, and this is a practical one. If you’ve been thinking about making improvements, now’s a great time to take that step,” said Guy Lapointe, Director of Community Services.

The program is designed to:

  • Support local businesses
  • Enhance the customer experience
  • Build pride in Uptowne Olds
  • Create a more inviting place to shop, work, and gather

Business owners or tenants within the designated Uptowne area or Mountain View Power customers can apply by submitting a simple application that outlines their project, budget, and timeline. Projects must be completed within six months of approval.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of the next round of Storefront improvements.
