  • Town of Olds Approves Capital Budget Amendment to Combat Infrastructure Issues

    The Town of Olds Council has approved an amendment to the 2024 capital budget aimed at addressing inflow and infiltration (I&I) in the Town’s wastewater management system. This $400,000 addition underscores the Town's commitment to maintaining and improving its municipal infrastructure for the well-being of residents. The additional allocation will be used to repair leaks already identified by relining manholes and pipes that are allowing water to enter our sanitary system.

  • Temporary Repair Update for Local Rail Crossings

    CP Rail communicated that there is a delay in completing the remaining repairs, attributed primarily to the procurement, stating that the necessary parts and materials are expected to arrive between May 1 and May 15. To ensure the safety of all road users, bump signs have been installed and are prominently visible for eastbound traffic on Highway 27 before the crossing.
