BYLAW NO. 2024-34 

RATES AMENDMENT BYLAW 

A BYLAW TO AMEND TOWN OF OLDS RATES BYLAW 2023-38 SCHEDULE G 

WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Olds deems it necessary and expedient to amend the Town of Olds Rates Bylaw 2023-38 Schedule G. 

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Town of Olds, in the Province of Alberta, enacts as follows: 

TITLE:  

This Bylaw may be cited as ‘Rates Amendment Bylaw’ – Schedule ‘G’. 

Town of Olds Rate Bylaw 2023-38 is hereby amended by: 

  1. Schedule ‘G’ Fire Rates 

Delete: Rate Bylaw Schedule ‘G’ Fire Rates effective July 8,2024; and 

Insert: Bylaw 2024-34, Schedule ‘G’ Fire Rates Being a Bylaw to Amend Rate Bylaw 2023-38 

This Bylaw comes into full force and effect on the date it is passed. 

 

Read a first time the 8th day of July 2024. 

Read a second time the 8th day of July 2024. 

Unanimous consent for third reading the 8th day of July 2024. 

Read a third and final time the 8th day of July 2024.

Basic Response

Standard Response 

(more than one resource is required, and the incident was resolved in one hour or less) 

$300 

Extended Response  

(When the incident requires more than one hour) 

Charged at an hourly rate as per Alberta Transportation Rates of Reimbursement for Fire Departments.   

Expendable/Consumable supplies used in a response 

Town cost plus 15%
