Northeast Area Structure Plan (ASP) Bylaw

TOWN OF OLDS

BYLAW NO. 2024-38

WHEREAS Section 633(1) of the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statues of Alberta 2000, and amendments thereto, provides that a council may adopt an area structure plan; and

WHEREAS the Northeast Area Structure Plan has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of Part 17 of the Municipal Government Act, as amended; and

WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Olds deems it desirable to adopt the Northeast Area Structure Plan.

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Olds in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts as follows:

1. THAT the document entitled “Northeast Area Structure Plan” and attached as Schedule A of this bylaw is adopted.

BYLAW TITLE:  This Bylaw may be cited as the Northeast Area Structure Plan.

EFFECTIVE DATE

This bylaw comes into force on the date it is passed.

Read for the first time on the 9^th day of September 2024.

Public Hearing was held on the 15^th day of October 2024.

Read a second time on the 15^th day of October 2024.

Read a third and final time on the 15^th day of October 2024.
