BYLAW NO. 2021-15 and 2021-16
Amendment to the Land Use Bylaw
Monday, August 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

The owners of Lot 9 & 10, Block 8, Plan 2186H have applied to amend the Land Use Bylaw (LUB). The requested LUB amendment requires an amendment to the Uptowne Olds Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) to maintain consistency between the plans. Bylaw 2021-15 would allow for residential use to be a primary use for the area east of 49 Avenue, between 48 Street and 49 Street by adding an additional policy to Section 4.3 of the ARP.
Bylaw 2021-16 proposes to amend the Land Use Bylaw in order to re-designate Lot 9 & 10, Block 8, Plan 2186H from Light Industrial District (I1) to Central Commercial District (C1). The proposed amendment is to allow for residential use of the parcel.
