Mountain View Power was formed as an innovative Community Sustainability Initiative and is a Municipally Controlled Corporation owned by the Town of Olds. Mountain View Power markets electricity, natural gas and green generated power to residential, farming and small business located in the County of Mountain View.

One hundred per cent of profits go to support and grow our community and region in a vibrant and sustainable manner. The criteria for projects or programs that receive financial support are those that encourage, initiate and facilitate community and economic development through the incorporation of the five dimensions of sustainability: social, cultural, environment, economy, and governance.
