Town of Olds Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) Activated and Deactivated Thursday, July 7, 2022 for cautionary measures during central Alberta's 'Tornado Warning' emergency alert notifications.
PUBLIC ADVISORY - Please note the Olds Fire Department will be holding a controlled burn tomorrow, Saturday, July 9 in Olds at 5223 54 Street (across from the Cow Palace). Please do not call 9-1-1 as this is fully controlled, there is no need to report it.

The Town of Olds wastewater system is currently maintaining it’s capacity. All lift stations are in working order and the Town is holding water infiltration at bay.
Our main priority is to maintain conservation of grey water and residents are asked to ensure their sump pumps are not diverted into the Town’s sewer system. Please check to ensure all water from sump pumps is flowing outside of your home and away from the Town’s sewer infrastructure.

Council has selected a new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and they are pleased to announce and introduce Mr. Brent Williams as the new CAO for the Town of Olds. Brent will begin his role and responsibilities on May 30, 2022.
Mr. Williams and his family currently reside in Vegreville where he is the CAO of the County of Minburn.
