Town of Olds CLOSES Public Facilities to Stem COVID-19

In order to keep the COVID-19 risk low for Albertans, the Town of Olds has CLOSED all of its facilities to the public. Town staff continue to work, however, facilities are closed to all public access.

The Town of Olds number-one priority continues to be the safety of our citizens, staff and visitors.

We are continually monitoring the situation with the Provincial and Federal Governments. The most up to date information about COVID-19 is available at the following websites: Government of Canada and Alberta Health.

NEWLY ANNOUNCED CLOSURES INCLUDE:

  • Town of Olds Administration Building
  • Fire Services Building
  • Operations Centre
  • Nu2U Thrift Store
  • Olds Municipal Library
  • Olds Curling Club

These closures are in addition to the closure of the Sportsplex and the Aquatic Centre which were closed Friday, March 13, 2020.

The Town of Olds will not direct community organizations on what to do for their own operations, however encourages everyone to follow the above links for provincial and federal recommendations on COVID-19.
