Olds RCMP Staff Sergeant Invites Residents to Participate in ZOOM meeting

October 4, 2021

Our local Detachment Commander of the Olds RCMP, S/Sgt. Warren Wright, will be providing an opportunity for Olds residents who may have concerns or comments about policing issues within the Town of Olds to get together and share their concerns at an upcoming zoom meeting.
Normally, this type of engagement would take place in-person in a facility; however due to the current state of the COVID pandemic, public gatherings are not an option for the RCMP.
As a result, on Thursday October 14, 2021 a Zoom Meeting will be held from 7pm to 9pm. Interested residents are encouraged to contact the Olds Detachment by email at: KOldsCommunityPolicing@rcmp-grc.gc.ca and request joining instructions which will be provided in advance of the meeting.
If you are interested but do not have a way of joining the Zoom Meeting, then please feel free to still share your concerns and comments with S/Sgt. WRIGHT through his email at: KOldsCommunityPolicing@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
Please be advised all participants will receive some form of response from S/Sgt. Wright and updates describing the outcome of this public engagement event will be forwarded to the local media.
An additional community engagement event will be held in early February 2022 for the residents of Bowden and Mountain View County, to provide them with their opportunity to engage and communicate with the Olds Detachment.
We look forward to hearing your concerns and comments. See you October 14, 2021 via zoom!
