Procurement: Council passed several policies related to procurement / purchasing:

  • Policy 218C: Procurement was amended to update and provide clarity on the Town’s procurement processes and thresholds.

 

  • Policy 226C: Disposal of Land Policy was passed to provide direction on how the Town may dispose of municipally owned lands.

Council updated its 2022 – 2026 strategic plan, with new priorities focused on achieving its goals and guiding administration’s efforts. The Strategic Plan is Council’s most important document and sets the vision for the Council term and beyond. The plan can be viewed here.

Animal Bylaw

Bylaw 2024-07 Waste Management: Bylaw 2024-07 was presented for Council’s consideration to replace the current waste management bylaw that was enacted in 2005. The new bylaw reflects the current environmental concerns, technological advancements, and waste management practices.
