Olds FCSS values the youth of our community. We understand the importance of connection and enagement for youth and have listed different organizations below for youth to connect with.

We have 8 weeks of summer camps available this summer!
July 2 to August 29, 2025 from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: Olds Sportsplex
Field trips will be finalized closer to camp start dates. All necessary information will be sent to parents/guardians.
We welcome all children including those with varying disabilities. Those who should have an aide present are required to have a qualified attend for the duration of camp. Campers should be prepared daily with their packed lunch, snacks, water bottle, indoor shoes and attire for all outdoor weather. Fridays will require campers to bring their swimsuits and any additional needs for a safe and fun time at the Olds Aquatic Centre.

- 5 Day Camp: $200
- 4 Day Camp (Week 5): $170
- Summer Starter: $50/Day
Extended Care:
Pre Camp from 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM
Post Camp from 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Summer Starter: July 2-4 (1, 2, or 3 day camp)
Campers ages 5-11 can register for one, two, or all three days of excitement, each packed with a mix of our favourite summer camp themes. From creative crafts and outdoor games to hands-on activities inspired by our upcoming camps, there’s something new to explore each day. Plus, we’ll wrap up the week with a refreshing pool day on Friday—the perfect way to dive into summer fun!
Week 1: July 7-11
Carnival Creations
Step right up for a week of carnival fun! Campers ages 5-7 will experience the excitement of the big top through art, games, and hands-on activities. From learning to juggle and creating colourful carnival-themed crafts to playing classic fair-style games, there’s something for everyone! Get ready for a fun-filled adventure packed with creativity, laughter, and excitement!
Week 2: July 14-18
World Wide Wonders
Get ready for a global adventure! Campers ages 5-11 will explore some of the world’s most breath taking natural wonders through art, hands-on activities, and exciting challenges. Through storytelling, games, and creative projects, we’ll travel the world without ever leaving camp, learning about different cultures, landmarks, and the beauty of our planet along the way!
Week 3: July 21-25
Artful Adventures
Let creativity shine in this colourful and hands-on week! Campers ages 5-7 will explore a variety of artistic techniques, from painting and pottery to experimenting with textures and different materials. Each day will bring new opportunities to express imagination through fun and engaging projects. We’ll learn about famous artists, discover unique styles, and create masterpieces to take home. Get ready for a week filled with colour, creativity, and artistic exploration!
Week 4: July 28-August 1
Mystical Creatures
Step into a world of fantasy and wonder! Campers ages 5-11 will explore the realm of magical and mythical creatures through exciting stories, creative crafts, and interactive adventures. Get ready for a week filled with mystery, magic, and endless fun!
Week 5: August 5-8 (4 day camp)
Nature’s Navigators
Get ready to explore the wild side of summer in Nature's Navigators! Campers ages 5-7 will venture into the great outdoors, discovering the wonders of parks, animals, bugs, and all things nature. From observing wildlife to identifying plants, every day is a new adventure! Whether it’s hiking through the parks, building a birdhouse, or exploring the tiniest critters, this camp is perfect for curious kids who love to connect with the outdoors!
Week 6: August 11-15
Movie Madness
Lights, Camera, Action! Movies and Media take centre stage as campers ages 5-11 unleash their creativity at this hands on camp! Through a field trip to Mayfair Cinema, and telling the news breaking stories in our community, the magic of movies and media will come to life!
Week 7: August 18-22
Mascot and Mini Olympians
Get ready for a week of fun, sports, and mascot madness! Campers ages 5-7 will have a blast as they explore the world of sport and recreation, meeting amazing mascots at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame. Throughout the week, they’ll compete in their very own Mini Olympics, with exciting games, races, and team challenges designed to test their minds, skills and teamwork. Whether they’re cheering for their favourite mascot or racing to the finish line, this camp is all about having fun, staying active, and making lasting memories. Let the games begin!
Week 8: August 25-29
Super Sounds
Get ready to make some noise at Super Sounds! This week is all about campers ages 5-7 exploring the world of music and rhythm through exciting cultural experiences. From joining a vibrant drumming circle to getting an introduction to different instruments, campers will discover the power of sound and how it connects us all. Throughout the week, they’ll create their own musical waves, learn new rhythms, and have a blast making music together. Whether they’re tapping to the beat or strumming an instrument, Super Sounds will send waves of creativity and fun through the whole camp!
