Municipal Election
Town of Olds Council consists of a Mayor and six Councillors who are elected by the citizens of Olds every four years.
The current Council was officially elected in the General Election held Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, and began its term on Monday, October 25, 2021.
The next Town of Olds general Municipal Election will be in October 2025, unless a by-election is called. Elections are held in accordance with the provincial Municipal Government Act.

The Local Authorities Election Act specifies that a general election shall be held every 4th year.
This election fills seven (7) seats; one Mayor and six Councillors.
