Community Connection Centre Room Bookings

The Community Connection Centre features two bookable spaces. These can be booked by emailing facilitybookings@olds.ca or calling the Community Connection Centre at 403-507-4844.

Local Non Profit Groups: Free of Charge

Non Resident Groups or Residents at Large: $30.00/hour  

Jean’s Place is suitable for birthday parties, wedding / baby showers or family  gatherings.

Jean’s Place

Named for Jean Statham who moved to Olds in 1946 when she was 13 years old and spent the rest of her 84 years here. She worked in local banks for 30 years and was the Hi Neighbour welcome hostess for over 30 years, until 2015. During those years she welcomed and connected more than 5000 new families to Olds.

Jean’s Place is an ideal space for a children’s program, workshops or board meetings, this space holds up to 40 people. You will find:

• access to WIFI

• coffee maker

• water cooler

• fridge

• microwave 

• 20 foldable chairs

• 5 foldable tables

• Large TV that a computer can be connected to and used as a screen

Community Office Space

A more intimate space ideal for small meetings or meeting with clients one on one, you will find:

• Access to WIFI

• Board table with 7 chairs

• Large TV that can mirror phones or computers.
