Southeast Industrial Area Structure Plan Review
The Town of Olds has prepared an update to the Southeast Industrial Area Structure Plan (ASP) and has given first reading to a bylaw (Bylaw No. 2018-23) to adopt the updated plan. The Southeast Industrial ASP was written in 2001 and last amended in 2015.

Why is the Southeast Industrial Area Structure Plan important?
Having forward looking plans in place, such as the Southeast Industrial Area Structure Plan (ASP), can help the Town of Olds attract new and innovative businesses to the area, and reinforce the town's position as a regional service center. It provides a policy framework for the growth and development of the community far into the future.
The Southeast Industrial Area Structure Plan aims to guide future growth and development of the Southeast Industrial area in a manner that is orderly, economical and beneficial, while balancing the environmental, social and economic needs and desires of the community. How can I be involved?
Town Council will be hosting a public hearing on the proposed Southeast Industrial Area Structure Plan on Monday, August 27, 2018. You are welcome to attend and/or send in your comments prior to the public hearing.
