Municipal Planning Commission Meetings & Minutes
The Municipal Planning Commission advises Council with respect to achieving orderly, economical and beneficial development, use of land and patterns of human settlement, and to maintain and improve the quality of the physical environment within which the patterns of settlement are situated in the town.
This commission meets the third Thursday of each month to consider development applications that require relaxation or reduction in the requirements of the Town of Olds Land Use Bylaw. 
These applications are presented at monthly meetings and are either approved, with or without conditions, or refused. Authority to make decisions is granted by the Municipal Planning Commission Bylaw and the Land Use Bylaw.
