The Terms of Reference for this Board are contained in Town of Olds Bylaw 1269-83.

This Board provides recommendations to Council on policy and programs related to the Family & Community Support Services guidelines, including recommendations on funding for community groups related to the Family & Community Support Services guidelines.

Membership consists of one Town Councillor and six members-at-large from the Olds community. Members serve for a term of two years, and may not serve more than two consecutive terms without a two year break.

Meetings are currently held at the discretion of the Chair.

Those interested in participating as FCSS Board Members are strongly encouraged to attend at least one board meeting for an overview on the roles and responsibilities of the Board Members.
